I first saw Herbariums on Japanese craft Instagrams. However, herbariums are not a new concept. Traditional herbariums are dried floral arrangement mounted to sheets of paper for study. The herbariums you can make from this kit are set in crystal oil and in glass bottles or pens. I've included all the supplies to make one full herbarium bottle and two herbarium pens. But, I encourage you to gather your own flowers, fruit, and containers to make more if you are able to. Do not pick flowers off private property- the best resource to determine where/how to collect flowers is your local Wildflower Center or a nursery.
Included supplies: glass bottle, herbarium pens (2), crystal silicone oil, 240mL, dried flower arrangement (Baby’s Breath, Sisal, Lagurus), sisal bunch, bottle labels, film inserts, dried fruit slices (do not eat!), dried flower mix box, pipette, and styrofoam.
